You can see it has a chip. Gives it character, don't you think?
I am not looking to sell the saucer, but I might be interested in finding a matching cup. Mainly, I am interested in finding out detailed information about the plate itself. Such as the date it was produced, its current value, and things of that nature.

Hi Mary. Don't know how much you know about dishes, but this baby has a bit of age but maybe not as much as you might think. I collect antique china. This piece was made between 1908 and 1930 and shows the character Tony Weller from Charles Dicken's "Pickwick Papers." Unfortunately, it has been stored in a hot place because of the crazing (the spider web type cracking and brown tint to the white of the dish) and sadly, that can't be fixed. I'm with you though--chips and crazing add character. Because of the ware, the worth is low, but with your family history, it's high to you and that's all that matters. :)
